How to create Private tasks on Kobble
Not every task needs to be blasted to the public marketplace. Sometimes you have a specific trusted worker in mind, or maybe you need to share a task exclusively with your internal team. In these scenarios, Kobble’s Private Task feature is exactly what you need.
What is a Private Task?
A Private Task on Kobble is an unlisted task. When you mark a task as private, it:
- Never appears in the public marketplace.
- Is hidden from search results and categories.
- Is excluded from Kobble's automated email digests to workers.
The only people who can find and accept the task are those you share the direct link with.
How to Create a Private Task
Creating a private task is straightforward and integrated directly into the normal posting flow.
Step 1: Start a New Task
Click the Post a Task button from your dashboard to begin drafting your brief.
Step 2: Fill in the Details
Complete the task details as you normally would. Add a clear title, a detailed description, set the budget, and configure the timeline.
Step 3: Toggle "Private Task"
Scroll down to the settings section of the form. Look for the checkbox labeled Private Task and check it.
Heads up: Kobble won't bring workers to a private task automatically. Finding the right worker and sharing the task is completely up to you.
Step 4: Publish Your Task
Once you are satisfied with the details, click to publish. Since the task is private, it goes live immediately without being broadcasted to the Kobble network.
What Happens After Publishing?
Right after you hit publish, Kobble will automatically open a Share dialog. From there, you can:
- Copy the direct task link to paste in WhatsApp, Slack, or an email.
- Invite specific trusted workers you've interacted with before directly through the platform.
And that's it! You've successfully created an exclusive, invite-only opportunity on Kobble.
