Kobble is built for speed. When assigners post a task, they expect fast results. To enforce this, Kobble utilizes a strict countdown timer system whenever you claim a task slot.

The Claim Timer

When you click "Claim" on a task, you are instantly granted an exclusive reservation for that slot. However, you do not have unlimited time to complete it.

Every task has a specific completion window (e.g., 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 24 hours). The moment you claim the task, a countdown timer begins on your dashboard.

What Happens if the Timer Expires?

If the countdown hits zero before you submit your proof:

• You Lose the Slot: The task is automatically un-claimed and returned to the public marketplace for someone else to take.
• You Cannot Re-claim: You will be locked out of claiming that specific task again.
• Your Trust Score May Drop: Frequently allowing tasks to expire negatively impacts your account standing.

Best Practices

The golden rule of Kobble is: Do not claim a task unless you have the immediate time and resources to complete it right then and there. Treat a claim as a commitment, not a bookmark.
